WORK EXPERIENCE
A short term placement to help you decide what carers works best for you. You learn new skills, with this sometimes being the first time a person to gets to understand what working set hours is like.
VOLUNTEERING
Giving your time for a good cause. In the past we have taken on workers who wanted to give back and do it with an organisation that was within the local borough.
INTERNSHIPS
A long term placement and great insight in the field of your choice to see if the job is right for you. It is also good experience that is looked at by future employers. With all the changes going on in 2017, this was the year we decided to take on a student who worked with us as part of their degree.
