Ravensbourne Project Early Years Group provides sessional day-care for children in Lewisham who are referred because they have a special need, are disabled or their development is giving significant cause for concern. The aim is that as many children as possible will eventually move onto a mainstream provision without the need for additional support, and those children who require additional support at school will have been identified early.
The provision is part of a range of services provided by Ravensbourne Project and is part-funded by Lewisham’s Children’s Centres, Childcare and Play Service.
We are registered for up to 12 children at any time. Children who meet the access criteria are offered a place after they have reached the age of two, once a vacancy arises.
The group runs term-time, Monday to Thursday. It has Eligible Provider status and receives Nursery education funding for 3 and 4 year olds.
