The purpose of the service is to support parent/carers in their caring responsibilities and give them a break. It also provides the children and young people with the opportunity to try out new activities and situations and the possibility to make new friends or resume old friendships they may have lost when they changed schools.
The Short Breaks service runs at the weekend and during school holidays at 4 Crantock Road SE6. It is open 44 Saturdays and 24 Sundays each year and is is open every school holiday throughout the year (a total of 60 days).
